Faith Mdluli Women’s Month Appreciation

Appreciation Appreciation Appreciation!!! That’s the agenda for today! In showing appreciation, bringing about awareness to the agricultural engineering sphere and staying true to the Women’s Month Appreciation Marathon, The South African Institute of Agricultural Engineers would like to appreciate the following phenomenal engineer, Faith Mdluli!

Faith Mdluli is an Acting Director of the Sustainable Resource Management Unit in the Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs. She holds a BSc Agricultural Engineering degree from UKZN and an MSc Chemical Engineering degree from Wits. Her research on “Comparative life-cycle assessment of maize cobs, maize stover and wheat stalks for the production of electricity through gasification vs traditional coal power electricity in South Africa” was published in the Journal of Cleaner Environmental Systems. Faith is a PMI registered Project Management Professional (PMP) and a PhD candidate at Wits.

Faith serves in a number of project management and planning committees in Mpumalanga, including the Provincial Infrastructure Planning and Coordination Committee mandated by Infrastructure South Africa (ISA) and the Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Commission.
